Local Europe Travel inspiration – Zurich

Every two weeks, I share some of the latest tips  from one of our (currently) 29 Spotted by Locals blogs –  with you.

Today:  tips by our locals from Zurich (Switzerland)

1) Outlane Zurich- Where videogame history comes alive
Zurich Spotter Roman Rey: “A mix between bar, museum and private collection of pinball machines and old video games that you can play.”

2) Widder piano bar Zurich – Tropic of Capricorn
Zurich Spotter Miltiadis Sarakinos: “The pianist was singing: “a minha saudade, o meu amor”. She asked him for a song. He sang it after his break and she whispered along.”

3) Bäckeranlage Zurich– Kreis 4′s green lung
Zurich Spotter Sabine Schweizer: “I like this park because the atmosphere is very relaxed. Nobody minds if you bring a grill or a guitar along and, despite the crowd, you’ll generally find a quiet spot to read a book.”

4) Brocki Land Zurich – Treasure hunting
Zurich Spotter Sabrina Chudzia: “„Brockenhäuser” are the Swiss junk dealers. Well organized junk dealers. They were invented by this German who started selling stuff people don’t want anymore to collect money for epileptics. Seriously!”
